Jacque Plante ~ below, was the inventor and 1st goalie to wear one!
Had to get his face busted up 1st, before the coach let him use it!

Ken Dryden's mask was vented to keep his face cool!


Gilles Gratton was the 1st with a image on his mask.

"It's to scare the guy, coming in on a breakaway!"



& of coarse the goalie from Slapshot (he was just funny)!




But the best MASK of all, is the mask give you that 100% protection and help you with your nerves!
